Welcome to Revolver Records' new web site! The birth of Revolver Records can be traced back to 1982, having started as an offshoot from its sister label Heavy Metal Records (which itself began in 1979). Since then, Revolver has been at the forefront of new music, signing acts such as The Stone Roses & Jane's Addiction. Today, Revolver Records operates alongside Heavy Metal Records as a fully-fledged label in its own right, releasing new artists, sourcing and promoting new talent from the Midlands, the UK and further afield. We're also planning some exciting projects for the coming months, including a new project codenamed Revolver Digital, currently in its incubation stage with a planned launch date of early 2008.
The launch of our new web site also coincides with some fresh faces making an addition to the Revolver team, plus a raft of innovative business plans to ensure Revolver continues to bring the world the best new musical acts around, whilst also challenging peoples' perceptions of indie labels. There are some very exciting projects about to kick off at the start of 2008, including the formation of a new site called Revolver Digital (more on that coming soon). Rest assured that even while we're adding our catalogue to the site, we'll still be doing what we do best - releasing great music, and this site's where you'll hear it first.
